What Reactor does, in plain words: the vocabulary, the common questions, and the risks. Nothing here is advice.

Glossary

Reactor
A Solana protocol that turns JitoSOL into rxSOL and pays rewards to people who provide liquidity for it.
JitoSOL
The token Reactor holds. JitoSOL is a token issued by a third party. It is not SOL and not Reactor's token; Reactor does not control it or what it is worth. Reactor counts everything in JitoSOL, not in SOL.
rxSOL
Reactor's token. A Token-2022 token, fully backed by the JitoSOL held in Containment.
SOL
Solana's own token. You need a little SOL in your wallet to pay Solana's transaction fee, even when you are fusing JitoSOL. Reactor never takes SOL as a fee.
Fuse
Turn JitoSOL into rxSOL. Charges a — fee.
Split
Turn rxSOL back into JitoSOL. Charges a — fee.
Containment
The vault holding every JitoSOL that backs rxSOL.
Backing
How much JitoSOL sits behind each rxSOL. Burn-off pushes it up over time.
Burn-off
The share of every fee that is destroyed instead of paid out. Destroying rxSOL while the JitoSOL stays in Containment raises the backing of every remaining rxSOL.
Fuel
The LP token you get for adding liquidity to the rxSOL/the pool's other token pool. Your receipt for the liquidity you provided.
Enrich / Deplete
Pair rxSOL and the pool's other token in the official pool to make fuel, or turn fuel back into the two tokens.
Core
The reward pool. A share of every fee flows in and is released gradually.
Load / Eject
Put fuel into the Core, or take it back out. Both are free of protocol fees and available any time.
Output
Your rewards, paid in rxSOL, released from the Core to everyone who has Loaded fuel.
Harvest
Collect your Output. Harvest can never be paused.
Transfer fee
rxSOL charges a small fee (—) on every transfer, including swaps on exchanges. It feeds the same three-way split.
Slippage
How much the pool price is allowed to move between the moment you sign and the moment your transaction lands.

Questions

What is rxSOL worth?
Each rxSOL is backed by the JitoSOL held in Containment. You can always Split back to JitoSOL at the backing rate, minus the Split fee. On an exchange, rxSOL trades at whatever the market sets, which can be below the backing.
Where does my JitoSOL go?
Into Containment. It stays there until someone Splits.
Do I need SOL as well as JitoSOL?
Yes, a little. Solana charges its own fee on every transaction, and it is always paid in SOL. Reactor does not take it and does not set it. Keep a small amount of SOL in your wallet or your transactions will not go through — even when what you are fusing is JitoSOL.
Do I have to provide liquidity?
No. Fuse and hold if that is all you want. Output only goes to people who Load fuel.
What do I actually earn?
Output, paid in rxSOL, from the Core. The Core is filled only by fees other people pay. If there is no activity, there is no Output.
Can I get my fuel back?
Yes — Eject any time, fully or partially. The admin can pause Ejecting, but only for a limited time that is shown in the app; see Risks.
What can the admin do?
Pause Fuse and Load indefinitely, pause Split and Eject for a limited time only, and change protocol settings. Harvest can never be paused.
Why did my rxSOL balance grow on its own?
rxSOL uses a Solana token feature that scales displayed balances. As Burn-off accumulates, the amount of JitoSOL behind each rxSOL rises and your displayed balance rises with it. No transaction happens. Some wallets show the raw, unscaled number instead — this app always shows the JitoSOL your rxSOL is backed by, and the raw number in a tooltip.
Why does sending rxSOL cost a fee?
rxSOL charges a built-in transfer fee on every transfer. It funds the protocol, Burn-off and the Core.

Risks

DRAFT — TODO: owner and legal review before launch

Reactor is experimental software. Using it puts your funds at risk. Read this before you Fuse anything.

Software risk
Reactor is software, and software can have bugs. A bug in the programs, in something they rely on, or in this site could lose some or all of the JitoSOL in Containment and of any fuel you have Loaded. Nothing here is insured.
Third-party underlying
This reactor holds JitoSOL, a token issued by a third party. Fusing takes JitoSOL and Splitting returns JitoSOL — never SOL. Whoever issues JitoSOL keeps whatever powers they gave themselves over it, and it can trade at any price on any exchange. Reactor does not control, audit or insure any of that, has no price feed, and cannot tell you what JitoSOL is worth.
You need SOL as well
You need JitoSOL to Fuse, and you need SOL in the same wallet to pay Solana's network fees and one-off account rent. Getting JitoSOL in the first place happens outside Reactor, wherever it is issued or traded, and costs a fee there.
Admin powers
The admin can pause Fuse and Load indefinitely, and can pause Split and Eject for a limited period that expires automatically. While Eject is paused you cannot withdraw your loaded fuel. Harvest can never be paused. The admin can change protocol settings including fees, and the program can be upgraded by its upgrade authority.
Liquidity provision
Adding liquidity to the pool exposes you to impermanent loss: if the price of rxSOL moves against the pool's other token, withdrawing may return less total value than you deposited. Providing liquidity is not a deposit and is not guaranteed.
Third parties
The pool lives on Raydium, an exchange we do not control. Its contracts, availability and fees are its own.
Transfer fee
rxSOL charges a fee on every transfer, including swaps, deposits to exchanges and transfers to other people. Some services do not handle Token-2022 transfer fees correctly and may reject or misprice rxSOL.
Market price
rxSOL's price on any exchange is set by the market and can trade below its backing.
No returns are promised
Output comes only from fees other people pay. It can fall to zero. Nothing here is a yield, an interest rate or an investment return.
Network risk
Solana transactions can fail, expire or be delayed. Network fees are not refundable.
Your keys, your responsibility
We never hold your funds, cannot recover them, and cannot reverse a transaction.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own compliance with the laws that apply to you.

Addresses

Verify these against an explorer before you send anything. Reactor will never ask you for a seed phrase.

This build is not pointed at a Reactor instance, so there are no addresses to show. See the banner at the top of the app.
